ABOUT
I grew up in a little fishing village on Iceland’s rugged, and isolated east coast. Surrounded by big beautiful mountains. They were my playground in the summer and my fear of an avalanche in the winter. I was permanently dirty with two messy braids, a big smile, and an adventures spirit.

I spent my collage years studying in Norway with its never-ending forests and outdoor culture, while also raising my little boy.

I now live in sunny Sweden with my motorcycle riding husband and our two girls. One is a free spirit who wants to be a Zen little hippie, live barefoot and eat with her hands in Costa Rica. The other one is a super funny, entrepreneury, mouse owner who wants to become a professional dancer. My boy, who is is all grown up and in collage, lives in Iceland with his girlfriend. Both kind and caring, happy-go-lucky soccer playing people. Children. So fun to watch.

Me? I love the outdoors. It´s my great passion in life along with creative writing. I spend as much time outdoors as I possibly can, with my face towards the sun. I will probably look like an old leather bag in a few years. Or a turtle. But I don’t care. I wouldn´t trade one second of sun on my face for anything. Because it´s the best!
Creating amazing memories through travel and fun activities is my specialty and something I do all the time. I also love knitting and baking. And laughing. I love laughing. And eating. Especially cookie dough. Every time I bake, I pretend it´s for my kids when it´s actually just so I can eat the dough. Sometimes (and by sometimes I mean most times) I make one and half batch so I can eat dough without the cake being really thin. And sometimes… I just make the dough. Hey! You only live once, you might as well enjoy it!

Oh yeah, I´m also a physical education teacher with a Master´s degree in Health Sciences. I´ve studied psychological trauma and violence, pain and pain management, vocational and professional rehabilitation among other things. Health, joy and personal growth is at the center of everything I do in life. I´m so glad you stopped by! I would offer you some cake but the dough didn´t make it.
